On the nose, fresh aromas of ripe pear and white peach lead, underscored by subtle floral hints and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is clean and vibrant, with a silky texture and balanced acidity that carries the stone fruit flavours through to a lingering, mineral-driven finish. The dark, chewy fruit, dusty charred oak and twist of bittersweet cocoa add complexity and anchor this otherwise fruit-driven lighter-weight syrah. It could benefit from a touch more bottle age to absorb the structure and turn on the spice, but the juicy fruit will be best on the younger side.”
