Tasting in the Vines
The Wee Wine Shed at Jasper Ridge is open every day from 27 December 2025 midday-5pm. Late night opening on Friday evening until 7pm.
Jasper Ridge Estate invites you to experience our second year of ‘Tasting in the Vines’ from The Wee Wine Shed at Jasper Ridge this summer, a unique and rustic experience in the heart of our working vineyard on the Eastern End of Waiheke Island.
If you haven’t got a car, jump on the new Eastern Explorer hop on hop off bus and discover Jasper Ridge and other hidden gems in the idyllic Eastern End of Waiheke Island (real-time bus tracker).
Taste our 5-star Gold award-winning Rosé, Pinot Gris and Syrah alongside limited-editions of our 2022 and 2024 Syrah ranges, right next to the vines.
Enjoy a guided tasting of five exquisite wines, a walk in the vineyard and wine and unique JR gifts to take home.
⏰ Open Wednesday - Sunday until 24 December then open everyday from 27 December 2025, 12noon - 5pm for tastings. Late night opening Friday until 7pm for tasting and off-licence sales. Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Tasting Details
Location: Jasper Ridge Estate, 31 Cowes Bay Road, Waiheke Island 1971
Date: 24 October ‘25 for spring/summer until April 2026.
Time: 12noon until 5pm (last pour at 4.30pm), late night Fridays until 7pm.
Tasting Fee: $25 for five wines (35ml pour per wine).
