Waiheke Island has long been celebrated for its stunning vineyards, coastal views, and unforgettable wine experiences. At Jasper Ridge Estate, we’re excited to introduce something new, our cellar door designed to bring you closer to our wines, whatever the season.
A New Way to Taste Jasper Ridge
Our new cellar door offers a welcoming, relaxed indoor space where you can explore and enjoy Jasper Ridge wines year-round. Whether you’re visiting on a warm summer afternoon or a crisp winter day, the experience remains just as enjoyable, comfortable, intimate, and focused on the wines themselves.
This new space builds on our existing tasting experience from the wee wine shed, open through the summer, giving guests more flexibility and ensuring that every visit can go ahead, regardless of the weather.
We are now also offering sharing boards and snacks featuring Waiheke local produce to compliment the wine tastings. The produce is available to takeaway along with Jasper Ridge wines and local Waiheke wines, beers and spirits.
If you are looking for a private corporate team space, or just visiting the island with family and friends, we look forward to welcoming you.
Taste in Comfort, All Year Round
The cellar door is open Wednesday to Sunday from midday to 5pm in the winter, moving to seven days in the summer. Check out Google for up to date opening hours. While the vineyard setting remains a key part of who we are, our indoor cellar door now complements this by providing a reliable, all-season venue for tastings. It means:

A Boutique Experience, Rooted in Waiheke
Jasper Ridge is a boutique vineyard located at the eastern end of Waiheke Island, producing small-batch wines that reflect the character of the land. Our focus is on quality, sustainability, and expressing the unique terroir of the island through every bottle.
During your tasting, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our carefully crafted award winning range including our signature Syrah and Rosé, each made with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. One of the things that sets Jasper Ridge apart is the personal nature of the experience. As a small, hands-on vineyard, we offer tastings that feel more like a conversation than a transaction.
Plan Your Visit
Located at 31 Cowes Bay Road on Waiheke Island, Jasper Ridge is easy to reach and well worth the journey. Tastings, sharing boards and snacks are available, and during winter we are usually open Wednesday to Sunday from Midday to 5pm.
For larger groups, corporate and private bookings, or special events, we also offer tailored experiences on request. Bookings are recommended, especially for groups or weekend visits.
